The IRONMAN Ottawa triathlon is a new addition to the list of full distance races that takes athletes on an unforgettable journey through Canada’s capital city.
The race begins with a two-lap swim in the cool waters of the Ottawa River, starting from Britannia Park. Next, athletes will test flat and fast, 2.75-loop, bike course. With only 323 meters of elevation – time trial bike is obvious choice for athletes chasing PB. Speed through the city streets while taking in iconic landmarks like the historic Embassy Row.
Finally, the 2-loop run course winds its way through the heart of Ottawa, showcasing the city’s vibrant energy. Expect enthusiastic crowds cheering you on as you navigate the streets towards the grand finish, culminating in a truly memorable finish line experience in front of the awe-inspiring Parliament of Canada.
