The swim portion begins and concludes at the Corniche, a stunning coastal stretch offering breath taking views of both the city and Muttrah Fort. Competitors navigate a single loop through the Arabian Sea’s calm and protected waters.
Cyclists embark on a one-loop journey along the scenic Muscat Expressway, closely following the city’s coastline. Starting and finishing at the Corniche, the route passes through Seeb, Al Khuwair, and Wadi Al Amer. With minimal elevation changes, it’s suitable for cyclists of all skill levels. A highlight of the bike course is the iconic Muscat Corniche, a 10km (6.2mi) waterfront promenade, showcasing spectacular views of the city, Muttrah Fort, and the Arabian Sea.
The run segment, comprising three loops, offers a picturesque coastal path along the Muscat Corniche, past the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, and through the Muttrah Souk.
