The IRONMAN Alcudia Mallorca 70.3 course is a challenging yet scenic race that takes place on the Spanish island of Mallorca.
The swim starts in the protected waters of the Bay of Alcudia, starting and finishing at the spectacular Playa de Muro in Port d’Alcudia, known for its excellent location, white sand, turquoise waters and its proximity to numerous hotels and restaurants.
1 loop bike leg winds through the rolling hills of the Alcudia plateau. The course is moderately hilly, with several climbs and descents. The scenery is breathtaking, with views of the Mediterranean Sea, the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains, and the Alcudia pine forest. The bike leg starts in Port d’Alcudia and heads towards the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains, passing through the villages of Muro, Son Serra de Marina, and Port de Pollença. The course then takes a loop through the mountains, passing through the villages of Cala Mesquida, Cala Ratjada, and Cala Millor. The bike leg finishes in Port d’Alcudia.
3 loop run leg starts in Port d’Alcudia and heads through the city center, passing by the Church of Sant Jaume, the Archaeological Museum of Alcúdia, and the Alcudia castle. The course then takes a loop through the surrounding hills, passing through the villages of Can Picafort, Playa de Muro, and Port d’Alcudia. The run leg finishes on the beach in Port d’Alcudia.
