
The Ironman Acapulco 70.3 course offers athletes a diverse and picturesque experience. The event starts with the swim segment at Playa Majahua, located right next to Marina Cabo Marques. This stunning beach setting provides a beautiful backdrop for the beginning of the race.
Following the swim, athletes transition to the bike segment, which begins in Marina Cabo Marques. This two-loop bike course starts with short climb. Cyclists will then navigate through Blvd de las Naciones and Viaducto Diamante, taking in the sights of Acapulco’s dynamic landscape. The total elevation gain over the bike course is 415 meters.
The final segment of the race, the run course, starts and finishes in front of the Pierre Mundo Imperial Hotel, a landmark location in Acapulco. This two-loop run takes place along Av de las Palmas road, known for its scenic views and vibrant atmosphere. The run course has a total elevation gain of 42 meters, making it relatively flat and fast. This allows athletes to push their pace in the final stretch of the Ironman, heading towards a strong finish.
